Marking Progress and Achievements with NewParadigm Group

1970-1993

NewParadigm Securities has over 40 years of stockbroking experience which traces back to February 1972 when it was established as a stockbroking partnership.

In January 1981, it was later incorporated into a private company, namely Noone & Co.
‍
In April 1987, it was renamed to EN J. Securities Sdn Bhd.

In August 1993, it was renamed to Pengkalen Securities Sdn Bhd.

1996-2000

In November 1996, NewParadigm Asset Management was granted Capital Markets Services Licence by the SC. This licence allows the company to only carry out fund management in relation to portfolio management. Currently, NewParadigm Asset Management provides fund management services to institutional investors, corporate clients and retail clients.

In February 2000, Pengkalen Securities Sdn Bhd was renamed to PM Securities Sdn Bhd.

2004

In 2004, NewParadigm Securities was granted a Universal Broker licence by the SC following the acquisitions and mergers of Kimara Securities, MBF Northern Securities and Malpac Securities Sdn Bhd (previously known as Seremban Securities Sdn Bhd). As a Universal Broker, the company is licensed to conduct stockbroking activities; corporate finance activities and dealing in derivatives; and dealing in debt securities.

2005

In 2005, NewParadigm Capital Markets marked a significant milestone as an award-winning, independent, and privately-owned corporate finance advisory firm. It proudly holds license by the Securities Commission of Malaysia, solidifying its commitment to excellence and regulatory compliance.

2024

NewParadigm celebrated its 43rd anniversary with the successful completion of its acquisition and merger with PM Securities.
